ARTIST BIO

Zhonghua was born in the 1960s in Inner Mongolia, China. As a young boy, Zhonghua had a love for art and regularly enjoyed spending his morning with a sketch book capturing the scenes of bustling train stations. This passion later led him to pursue s degree in Fine Arts majoring in oil painting.

After immigrationg to Australia with his family in 2001, Zhonghua has largly devoted his time to painting the land scapes and seascapes of Australia. He is particularly inspired by the role of natural light in these landscapes and his paintings capture the subject in its rawest light. 

Zhonghus regularly holds collective and solo exhibitions and currently runs  children's art classes in Eastern Melbourne. His online gallery is (Gallery 247; https://www.gallery247.com.au/zhonghua-fan ).

A number of his works are in private collections at Melbourne as well as Western Australia.
