ARTIST BIO

Bruce was born in Maryborough (Qld) in 1951 and in 1974 graduated in Architecture from the University of Queensland where the art units were taken by Merfyn Moriarty.He painted sporadically during private architectural practice and after closing his office in 2014 commenced painting full time and attending the classes of Ted Dansey and Julian Bruere at the Victorian Artists Society. Bruce exhibits regularly at the VAS drawing his subjects from his travels and his local Melbourne environment.
