Katherine Chouliaras Lewis is an Australian Artist based in Rosanna, with many years of experience in painting and drawing and loves to experiment with different mediums and art techniques.
Her inspiration comes from life’s experiences and surroundings, as evident throughout her artworks.
Katherine has many artworks Nationally and Internationally.
Her signature art, are her Abstracts and Contemporary artworks.
Katherine accepts commissioned work and has completed many detailed artworks of animals, people, nature, landscapes and seascapes in oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolour, pencil and ink.
Katherine has been a long standing member of many Art Societies: the Victorian Artists’ Society; the Heidelberg Artists’ Society; the Victorian Pastel Artists’ Society; the Contemporary Artists’ Society and the Banyule Arts.
She has been exhibiting since 1992, but more so since she retired from her full time career in 2012.
Katherine is currently teaching Art at Arts On Burgundy, 104 Burgundy Street, Heidelberg.
Her other passions are ceramics, mosaics, photography and travelling. She uses her photos as inspiration and reference work for her paintings and prefers to meet her art subjects and clients in person.
